If you haven't read Runaways, you're really missing out. I decided to create this collection so others can read one of the best Marvel series. They recently made an appearance in Avengers Academy, and will have a movie coming out, so now is the best time to discover them.

Runaways is an award-winning comic book series published by Marvel Comics. The series features a group of teenagers who discover that their parents are part of an evil crime group called "The Pride", a super-powered crime ring that had control of Los Angeles for many years. After defeating their parents, the Runaways attempt to make up for their parent's sins by fighting crime in Los Angeles, being the city's official protectors.The series had been canceled in September 2004 at issue eighteen, but due to high numbers of trade collection sales, Marvel revived the series in February of 2005.

It was created by Brian K. Vaughan (Y: The Last Man, Ex Machina, Saga), then taken over by Joss Whedon (do I really have to explain what he's known for?).
